Granulation, one of the most ancient gold working techniques, was a process perfected by the Etruscans, the mysterious people of central Italy. The procedure is characterized by the welding of countless tiny specially forged gold spheres onto a design worked onto gold foil. Years of study have allowed us to approach ever more closely to a faithful reproduction of what this mysterious ancient culture attained in the art of goldsmithing.
